Day Of The Dead: Messages From The Other Side

This will be a special event to commemorate time for friends and family that has passed. Day of the Dead is a hispanic tradition that is seen as a day when the vail is at its thinest allowing the living and the dead to be able to spend time with one another once again. It is a day in which the living show honor and respect for those individuals by celebrating life and death. For this event we will be having a make-up station for if you would like to paint your face as a calavera(skull) typically with a smile which symbolizes laughing at death, since the memories live forever. If you would like to paint your face please come at 6 pm.
